My Students

For the 2019-2020 school year, we will have a JV cheerleading squad of 9 brand new cheerleaders. Many of the girls are new to the sport of cheerleading and are in need of equipment to make them as successful as possible.

A large majority of the school's population receives free or reduced-price lunch, which can lead to many students not having the means to purchase all of the equipment they need to participate in team sports.

My squad is in need of backpacks to carry our equipment to and from all team functions.

My Project

Our team is comprised of 9 wonderful girls who are all new to high school cheerleading. They are in need of new backpacks to carry all of their equipment (poms, shoes, jackets, etc.) to and from practice and games.

Many girls do not have the financial means to purchase everything that is needed for them to be successful cheerleader.

Some cheerleaders have had their backpacks donated to them, but we are still in need of 4 more bags for our squad. By having these bags donated some of the financial burdens of playing high school sports will be removed and the girls will be better able to focus on supporting our school and cheering on our team.
