This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Responsible. Kind. And independent. Those are just some attributes of my high school math scholars. They attend a low-income Title I school and still persevere through the many obstacles they face daily. These students are special to me because they inspire me to be the best version of myself everyday.

My Project

Back to in person learning means getting back to the basics. The classroom supplies listed here will be used by the students while we explore mathematics together. Batteries are needed so that I can get the class set of graphing calculators up and running. Colored pens, pencils, paper, and markers are needed for my visual learners who like to see math come to life.

It is important to me to have all the essentials to be a successful student accessible to all my students while in my classroom.

These classroom basics will help our classroom function properly and let us focus on the important part: mathematics.
