The town where I teach is very unique. We have students who come from all over the world due to military connections, as well as some who were born and raised right here. My students are all of mixed abilities, cultures, and backgrounds which makes it so exciting to have the opportunity to learn from them myself!
It is my hope that my students, who come from all corners of the country, have the opportunity to learn and thrive within the walls of my classroom.
Seventh grade is such a difficult yet exciting time in a student's academic career. Not only are they getting to learn about themselves as individuals, I truly believe that they are all learning how to be cooperative learners at this stage in school as well. As I get to know each and every one of them, I am excited to help them figure out what their passions are and how my class can help develop them.
My Project
It's that time of year.... when the germ count is high and the no.2 pencil count is dangerously low.
My class uses colored pencils and dry-erase markers daily to complete creative and engaging assignments.
I am hoping to provide more materials for them so that students who are unable to obtain the materials on their own can have them to use in my classroom.
I am also asking for Clorox wipes because honestly... things get sticky in 7th grade. There is really no telling what substance is on the desk at any given moment of the day so it is my hope that I can contribute to the health of my students by being able to wipe down surfaces.
