This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Budget cuts across the country are affecting school classrooms. My principal is amazing and is focused on the success of each of our students, but her hands are tied when it comes to the size of our budget. If I can secure supplies through other sources, it not only provides the materials my students use, but also can help relieve a little stress on my principal.

My students are primarily Title I students who cannot afford lunch, let alone the "pretty" supplies we use in the classroom, like colored paper for important information for our journals.

The other supplies listed are ones that we use often to create our interactive journals, organize our planners and work towards being successful.
