I am a Speech-Language Pathologist in an elementary school, supporting students grades PreK-5th Grade. Our students learn in general education, Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT), bilingual, and 12:1 special education classrooms. Many students in our school come from low income families, and our school is comprised of a large ELL (English Language Learner) population. At our school, 96% of our students receive free or reduced-priced lunch.

My Project
These materials will give students the opportunity to fully participate in Speech and Language Therapy at school. Students will be able to engage in hands-on activities, such as arts and crafts, as well as demonstrate their learning using personal white-boards and dry erase markers. The gift card will allow me to provide therapy using new and engaging materials. I have also requested some materials to have an organized learning environment, such as colored file folders and a place to store them so I can easily reference student notes. I am looking forward to having my students back in the therapy room and want to support them in the best way!
