This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Thank you for your interest in donating to our class project. We truly appreciate your time and consideration. My young scholars are active, bright and engaged individuals. They have a genuine curiosity for the world around them and have demonstrated their continued commitment to becoming life-long learners.
I love every aspect of teaching, and with your assistance, we can transform the learning environment for our young scholars and continue to pique their curiosity, engagement, and love for learning by ensuring they have the materials needed.
My Project
These materials will be used daily with my students. Often students do not come to class with the basic materials needed for learning. These materials will be kept in a storage bin in the classroom where all students can access them without disruption to the learning environment.
In our science class, all students keep interactive notebooks.
These notebooks are used during laboratories, engineering design, classwork, note-taking, and assessments. This is where students record their ideas, see their progress, and interact with the science without fear of being "wrong". While students love creating these notebooks, they often fail to bring glue and scissors to class. With your assistance, all students will have these materials readily available to them in class.
With your help, all of my students will have access to the materials needed. Thank you for your time, consideration, and generous donations to our classroom.
