My Students
I work with awesome kids who have special needs. They participate in an Early Childhood Special Education Kindergarten Program. My students have Individualized Education Plans based on their special needs such as Autism and Speech and Language Delays. They attend a public school in a high poverty district.
My students work hard and are gaining skills in the areas of math, reading, writing, social skills and language development.
My students are achieving their goals, and I am proud to be their teacher!
My Project
My kinder kids are back to school and are already working hard. We need basic school supplies and materials to help us achieve our daily goals. I am requesting chart paper for our daily interactive writing lessons. The Post It chart paper makes it so easy to move anchor charts and other writings around the room.
We use dry erase boards daily in our classroom.
Our supply of erasers is getting low. Each student needs their own eraser for independent work. The cute designs will excite and amaze my students. We are also in need of colored masking tape. In our amazing classroom, masking tape has many uses including labeling, creating a line for us to stand on, and art projects. Five year olds love tape! Finally, we need copy paper. I use copy paper to communicate with parents through newsletters. I also send home monthly homework suggestions and sight word reading lists. The students also use the paper for our art lessons where we learn to draw anything from animals to our favorite movie characters. Help us get these basic materials into our classroom!
