Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

It's that time of year again, where students and teachers are excited to start a new school year and look forward to the successes that each school year brings. However, at our school, not all students have the same opportunities to come to school prepared. Unfortunately our school, due to budget cutbacks, cannot afford to provide each student with a years worth of school supplies. As the first day of school quickly approaches I would like to have each student equally equipped with a variety of school supplies from paper to writing tools. This year in my 5th grade class, I will have 31 marvelous smiles awaiting the challenges of the 5th grade and I would like each of them to feel that they are ready to face these challenges and be equally prepared to succeed in my class.
