This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are Pre-K special needs students who are full of energy, love, and life. They are talkative, love to learn, build, and explore. They also enjoy dressing up and cooking in creative play.
Our children have a wide range of unique talents and abilities that highlight the unique individuals they are, from asking engaging questions to sharing their life experiences!
They are such a joy, and I love each of them. You will not be disappointed supporting this wonderful group of children!
My Project
My students need of Let's Find Out and My Big World with Clifford Subscription, Magnetic Schedule Board, Daily Schedule Pocket Chart and Helping Hands Pocket Chart, to start next school year off right. We are in need of basic classroom resources that will enhance student learning. The schedules will give our students visual reminders of our classroom routines. Having multiple schedules will allow us to post them in various locations throughout the classroom, as well as use them individually with students who need a more personal reminder.
The Circle Learning Time Center will allow us to practice multiples skills including letter recognition, days of the week, weather, and counting!
This set also includes words that begin with each letter and family rhyming words. A color and shape of the week completes this learning set, providing layers of learning fun!
We used Weekly Readers this school year and it strengthened the literacy learning, math skills, and social skills of my students. It was a joy to watch them read and learn with these magazines. I would really like to maintain this subscription for next year and add the Let's Find Out magazine. We used a sample of Let's Find Out and it added an extension to my lesson plans with visual representations of the holidays, seasonal themes, and social skills. At the end of the week, we sent these magazines home to extend learning with our families.
All of these resources will benefit my students and help start our year off right! Thank you in advance for donating!
