Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a group of active learners who are always excited about learning. They enjoy coming to school every day. They enter the class excited to be together and learn new concepts. My students are an amazing group of English learners with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who have much to contribute. My students enjoy learning through hands-on projects. The native languages of my students are Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Arabic, and Haitian Creole. They are a wonderful group of students to teach.
My students come from homes where their parents value education and are vested in their academic learning.
They want to see their children do well in school. I am fully vested in my students as well and want to provide them with rich experiences that will add to their background learning.
My Project
I am thinking about going back to school in a different way this year. With COVID-19 being a factor to consider, I need to take steps to ensure I help with keeping my students healthy in my classroom.
I want to provide each of my students with their own personal item that ONLY they touch.
I also need to ensure that items in the classroom are wiped down everyday to keep it clean for the students.
I hope you will help me provide these very basic keeping clean essentials to keep my students healthy for learning.
