I teach a Resource Specialist Program for grades K-5 in North Hollywood. I focus on improving my well-below benchmark students literacy and math skills. My students have disabilities ranging from autism to specific learning disabilities. My energetic students are eager to learn and need a fun, designated reading place that also works as a calming station.

My Project
Students will be motivated to learn with these lesson engaging white boards as well as getting helpful materials for the classroom that help visual learners. As a second year teacher, I have learned that students love lessons that are engaging. White boards have endless opportunities such as math, ELA, etc. It can also double as a way for shy students to share their ideas without feeling intimidated and promote healthy competition.
I've also added materials needed for my classroom, such as mounting adhesive, to put up growth mindset posters, and magnetic pointers.
I also added materials that are correlated to using the white boards.
