My Students
My students are amazing! Our school is located in a rural part of central California in the foothills of the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. We love our community and the natural resources we have in our area.
Many of my students come from middle to low-income families. My students come to school every day excited to learn something new and ready to take on a new challenge. While our students have many obstacles in their lives, they persevere and succeed.
My Project
My students will be returning to the school campus soon. Because of this, each student will need their very own supply box with colored pencils, markers, a pencil sharpener and regular pencils to start our hybrid learning classroom. Normally, my students would share many of these items or bring them from home, but just like everything else in 2020, this year is different. Like it or not, we can no longer share supplies. These items will be placed in a pencil box that each student will be responsible for throughout the school year.
