Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Hi all! This is my first year teaching 4th grade and I am very excited! I have a class of 34 eager and bright students from various cultures and backgrounds. My hopes this year are to create classroom community, and provide a safe space for my students.
Due to constant budget cuts, our classroom lacks some basic supplies and we would deeply appreciate your help!
My classroom is quite empty and I am hoping to provide some supplies for students, so that everyone has access to what they need to thrive.
My Project
I plan to emphasize the importance of organization with my students which is why I am asking for folders, notebooks, and binders with dividers. Next, I am asking for small whiteboards and clipboards to increase overall engagement and participation for all my students during whole group and small group instruction. Finally, I am a huge advocate for daily journaling and would like my students to each have a brand new composition notebook for their own thoughts.
