This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our Eagles are the best! I teach a SDC class of first, second, and third-grade students.

We are back to school in person and running low on supplies.

We are a Title I school where 100% of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch, with an overwhelming 92 percent of our students coming from low-income households. Every day our students overcome severe life challenges just to engage in school.

Please help me give my students cleaning supplies and masks to keep them in school as Covid numbers increase in our area.

My Project

As we plan to return to school for 2022 the Covid positive cases in our area are increasing. I feel very strongly that the best place for my students' learning is in person in the classroom.

We can be safe and germ-free in the classroom.

My students really need to be in-person to get the best education. If that requires us to wear masks and clean several time a day that's what we will do. We need supplies to get us through the rest of the year. With the help of DonorsChoose, we can stay on campus.
