My students need basic supplies such as pencils and display holders to work on projects that challenge their minds, support the curriculum and engage them in their learning.
My school has three programs in one school. We have a Special Ed Pre-School, we have a city feeder behavioral program, and a mainstream component. It has a very diverse population and diverse needs. What they all have in common is a need to be supported and engaged in learning.
We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of all of our students.
I want our students to be creative, innovative, and have a passion for learning. My students need to be challenged with independent thinking skills. The materials I am asking for are utilized by all students in the school.
My Project
Pencils, erasers and paper are a few supplies my students go through on a daily basis whether they are writing about points of view, creating a garden, supporting a story, or editing their work.
I have over 350 students and staff visiting my class on a weekly basis.
We are constantly creating literacy projects, drafting writing projects, and playing games to enhance the curriculum. My students need basic supplies in the library to learn.
I have lots of visual learners in my school so having stands with signs is needed for students to use to follow directions or read about new things in the library.
