Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are great kids that come to school on a daily basis with what materials can be supplied to them. Many of these students come from single family homes and spend their nights caring for younger siblings while trying to complete their homework. They are always in need of new educational supplies and truly appreciate anything that we can supply them with. Donations of materials, books and resources that are made to my students are put right to good use.

My Project

This project will make a difference because it will provide children from an inner city with resources that are badly needed. Over 90% of our children come from low income households. Most of the time they struggle to even have the most basic educational resources. Providing our students with new resources that can be used in school daily really has a positive influence on their educational lives.

We have many students who don't have back packs and really need a resource like this.

These resources will go out to our students that are in need of them. These back packs will keep all their school work safe daily.
