My Students

I am delighted to have an energetic class of students who are full of enthusiasm and excited about learning. As their teacher, I strive to create a learning environment where every student can succeed socially and academically.

My students are very active.

Regardless of the subject being taught, they are enthusiastically engaged in their learning and thrive on hands-on activities. They loved building electric circuits in science, making Cherokee pottery in social studies and assembling polygons with straws in math. While math, science and social studies tend to be times of excitement and activity, many students do better with reading and writing in a quieter learning environment.

My Project

I am creating a calm and peaceful learning area in our classroom where students can choose to go when they are looking for a comfortable space to better focus on their work. I recently purchased a carpet for this area and now need casual, comfortable seating where students can sit quietly to work on their reading and writing with fewer distractions. I am asking for three Back Jack chairs as our casual, comfortable seating.

Having this welcoming, quiet space to work away from distractions and interruptions will help many students focus on their work and will facilitate their learning and academic success.
