Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a poor socioeconomic background and need supplies to make their school year better.

My students are in a school on the south side of Chicago.

Most of them do not have a lot of resources. They are so eager and excited to learn I am trying to make their school year as exciting and fun as possible. I am trying to make my classroom library a place where kids are excited to go to to read and create their own books.

My Project

The bean bags will be put in the library to make it a more inviting place to visit. The chart paper and hole puncher will be used so students can create their own stories which will be displayed on the metal cabinet in the library for everyone to read.

I want to make learning fun and hands-on for my students.

This donation will help make that possible. Help some children in need!
