Help me give my students hats and gloves to keep them warm as they wait for busses, or walk to school in the freezing Boston temperatures.

My Students
I am Ms. Monroe, the educational facilitator of fantabulous fifth graders! We are part of the Success Bound Academy, SBA, which is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The SBA, is a Substantially Separate, special education program for students that have Emotional Impairments. These 5th graders are a dynamic group of students that are trying to persevere through their emotional impairments, to reach their grade level expectations, and make gains to close their individual achievement gaps.
My Project
We have been fortunate enough to have coats donated to many of the students in need. However, all students either walk, or wait for a bus to get to school, and do not have hats and gloves. These materials will help to keep students warm as they travel to and from school.
Today, coming to school prepared to learn looks very different than it did 20, or even 10 years ago.
We have to ensure, to the best of our abilities, that a child feels safe and nurtured. Being, cold, hungry, or anxious prevents our children from reaching their maximum potential.
