I teach preschool for Taylor public schools in Michigan. This is my second year teaching in this school district. Our preschool has a Highscope curriculum and we are a GSRP program which means we are state funded. I do not get a classroom stipend to spend on items for the classroom each year. These children qualify for the GSRP preschool because they have factors that deem them to be at risk for success. These children have very stressful lives at home and need their classroom to be a safe, warm and friendly place to come learn and play.

Our preschool has a Highscope curriculum and we are a GSRP program which means we are state funded. The children in my classroom loved playing with baby dolls last year in our dramatic play area. Then last winter we had a large out break of head lice throughout the school; therefore all the dolls and clothes were bagged up and put away. The custodial staff accidentally took those bags and threw away all the baby dolls and clothes never to be found again. Please help me to add new dolls and accessories to my dramatic play area.
