In my classroom, students come to school to learn through: doing, playing and exploring. I teach my students with songs, chants, cooperative play, hands-on stations, and body movement.
We have fun but we take our learning seriously!
There are 24 young learners in my class. Each student has a different personality to make up a beautiful quilt of: toothless smiles, fearless leaders, and lovable antics!
Their school day is filled with singing, reading, creating, building, writing, and messes. My students are always up for a challenge and anything with glitter!
We work hard and play hard to enrich our lives with a love of learning, playing, and creating.
The wheels are turning, the lights are shining bright, and student progress is being made! We have readers in our classroom!
My students are eager to read more and more but I don’t have the amount of books to nurture their voracious appetites!
Simply put, we need more books!
I have humbly asked for several Biscuit, My First Reader books to have the variety of engaging, deocodable texts to meet my students’ needs. My First Reader Biscuit books are perfect for early readers because they are challenging, fun, and help build their confidence as a young reader. Currently my students do not have the selection of My First Readers they need. Often times I am scrambling and strategizing to ensure students have a new First Reader Biscuit book to strengthen their ability and love for reading.
Please help us acquire the books we need to become strong, enthusiastic readers. Your donation will absolutely help young students to become readers, how cool is that?
