My Project

In our classroom, reading is a big deal! There is nothing like picking out a good book and finding a comfortable spot in the room to enjoy it.

As a teacher, there are few things as rewarding as the joy of watching little learners grow into readers.

The requested books will be highly sought-after new additions to our reading bins that students select from. The specific books requested align with the phonics patterns and skills that my blossoming readers are learning. My students will be thrilled to have the opportunity to practice using those patterns and skills while reading in fun and authentic ways.

In addition to practicing important phonics skills, these books and the great variety they come in will help my students strengthen their identities as readers and further nurture the appreciation of a good book. The books are described as featuring "diverse characters, fun storylines, and beautiful illustrations."

These high-quality and high-interest books will help excite, motivate, and inspire confidence in these curious and capable young readers. With your help, we will have them at our access daily.
