My Students

My students are bright young minds that want to learn. They enjoy projects and reading. They are sweet and smart.

Many of my students come from low income homes and may not have had the opportunity to read good quality books.

My classroom library will give them the chance to experience many new books in their interest areas.

My students will love having new, high interest books to read and to be read to. They will love these books a lot.

My Project

These books well help raise the reading levels of my students. Many are below grade level in their reading and having good, quality books to read will help them to raise these abilities. We will do this by working in small groups, reading together so they can become more fluent.

My students come from low income homes and need to be exposed to good familiar books.

The books I have chosen are great examples of this. If they are interested in reading they are more likely to want to read and to do better overall in my class reading time.
