We have a great bunch of students. Every day they come to class with great attitudes and a willingness to learn. They are smart, creative, funny, and friendly.
Our students always support each other to do their best.
We have students with different needs, and the class is supportive and understanding of the individual. This is a great class, and I hope to get them the materials that will make for a great classroom.
One quality that describes our students and perhaps most students their age is they have a lot of energy. If these students aren't being challenged they aren't happy.
My Project
These are basic classroom supplies that will make a big difference around the room. For example the clay will be instrumental in our classroom science unit, along with the hot plate. The stapler and hole punch, name plates, map, pencil sharpener, etc. are all products of having a newly added class this year and not having all the basics set up.
All of these items will make for a smoother and more enjoyable classroom experience.
For example, we are getting by with a twenty year old pencil sharpener on the wall, but it doesn't sharpen well. We have a cheep stapler but it is not going to last much longer, we have a small map of the united states but it doesn't quite suite our needs. We are getting by but not quite the smoothly running classroom we should be.
