Help me give my students the ability to have a diverse and inclusive classroom. With the use of a Wheasle (an easle on wheels), I will be able to use my anchor charts in small group!
The students I will be teaching will range from freshman in high school to seniors. The school is located in an urban area and the student diversity makes up 72% of the population. The students that I will be teaching are in an extremely diverse environment from many different socioeconomic backgrounds.
In order to effectively engage and reach my students, I need some help from the wonderful and caring donors like yourself!
My students are challenged learners and most are on some sort of education plan in order to be successful in school. With these items that I am requesting, I will be able to differentiate my lessons and accommodate their needs.
My Project
My students LOVE using fidgets in class due to many of their different abilities. It really helps them to concentrate during class as well and gives them an opportunity to release their stress or anxieties.
Another important material I have asked for, the Wheasle, will be extremely helpful during my small group.
I will be able to use my anchor chart paper during instruction to help with graphic organizers and reading/writing strategies.
My students need to be sitting next to me during instruction so it will be helpful to write down notes while I am talking and still be able to keep in contact with my students rather than turning my back to write on the board.
