My Students

Our Aviation Program is training students as the only Certified Aerospace/Aircraft Assembly training provider “at the High School level” in the Nation. In a historically low economic area, jobs like the four positions that our graduates received with Embraer does not just put them to work it gives kids a career and a future. The program has seen a drop in our normal funding because of COVID-19. There are currently over one hundred students in the program. This program originated in response to input from the “Space Coast” Aviation industry and the local need for trained personnel to meet the current and future expansion of aerospace-type companies in Brevard County, Florida. Students in the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program will gain the foundational knowledge and skills to become entry-level Aviation Technicians and Assemblers. Our certifying organizations are ASTM through NCATT, CertTEC, and SpaceTEC. Our graduating High School students who have completed our program are currently working at Embraer Aircraft, STS AeroMod, Harris, and Piper Aircraft. They also go into Military Aviation careers and attending Aviation Engineering programs at the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT), University of Central Florida, The University of Texas, and other colleges across the country.
