Autistic Support Teacher Striving to Make a Difference!
My students need pocket charts for organization, an easel pad for small group work, squishy balls for sensory stimulation, and a welcome rug to make them feel at home!
All students need organization, but my students need it even more because they are children with autism. Staying organized is key to their success, and these supplies will make that happen!
The vast majority of students at my school come from families who don't have money to spend on school supplies, let alone additional supplies to help encourage organization.
The students with autism at our school are a loving, creative, and energetic bunch!
My Project
These supplies and resources will help my students stay organized through the entire school year. The calendar pocket chart will be used daily during morning meeting and at the end of the day. The routine pocket chart will be referenced frequently throughout each day. The easels will be used when students are in small learning centers. The other items will be used for sensory stimulation. All of the supplies and resources will be used in a wonderful classroom where life long learning is instilled in each student!
Any donations to our project will be greatly appreciated and will immensely improve the organization for each and every student in our classroom.
