Autism Students Need to Have Classroom Task Boxes for Learning!
My students need a laminator, pencil pouches, and velcro for work tasks!
This project expired on July 21, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach in a school district just outside of a large city in Texas. My ten students are mostly Autistic and speech impaired children. My students range in grade level from kindergarten to fourth grade. Each student has their own unique challenges, but show love, caring, and smiles every day.
My Autistic students deserve everything they need to be successful in school and in life!
These students have been affected by Hurricane Harvey, and I just want the classroom life to be as routine and structured as possible.
This project will help my students be successful within their appropriate grade level, it will make their classroom a place for them to succeed and grow this school year!
I recently purchased classroom task boxes that were differentiated for my autism students in a self contained classroom. These task boxes help my students in the areas of math and language arts. We need materials so we can assemble these task boxes and use them throughout the school year. The laminator will help the materials stay clean and reusable. The Velcro will allow them to be used over and over again and taken apart to allow the next student to use them. Then, the storage pencil pouches will allow my students to clean up the task box and neatly store them for the next use.
