This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach an energetic group of 3rd and 4th graders. My class is compose of 25 students with the majority being 3rd grade. My class has a large range of abilities and intellect. I strive to make their education engaging and fun. Most of my students come from a low income neighborhood. My goal as their teacher is to give them the life skills and proper education needed to succeed in life and become the future leaders of their community. With your help, we can acquire the tools and skills to reach their dreams. Thank you and any little help is very much appreciated.

My Project

In today’s society, computer skills have become an important part for students to learn. Typing is one of those skills student must practice and learn at now an elementary school level. In my class, both my 3rd and 4th graders are ask to type their stories they write as a means to publish their writing. However, with 25 students in a class an a limited amount of computer space. Student must sometimes wait to have the available computer they were using to continue their writing. With your donation, I will be able to provide a USB flash drive for each of my students that will therefore allow them to save their work as they go and continue working on it both in class, at home, or in our computer lab. Help my class hone their typing skills and become better writers at the same time.
