This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students love to learn new things on their own. With audio books they will be learning new ideas and concepts, and they will be growing as readers.

My students are extremely bright and motivated but are hindered by their socioeconomic circumstances.

They have a thirst for learning and love to read. Having audio books will enrich their lives and quench their thirst for learning. The students will appreciate every opportunity provided to them.

My Project

My students will use these books during center time. These books will give them a great opportunity to learn how to read on their own. They will be able to select a book that interests them and share what they learned or imagined with the rest of our class.

My project will make a difference because reading opens minds, and this project will give my students the chance to read more, providing my students with active inquisitive minds.
