This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am moved from second grade to KINDERGARTEN with great excitement. I am hoping to fill my classrooms with items that will lead to great learning for all of my kids.

My students are five year old sponges ready to soak up all they can, and they will be ready to begin their road of knowledge.

My classroom is an environment for energy and enthusiasm for each and every school day. I am creating a place enriched by an abundance of books, words, letters, numbers, and other tools for learning.

My Project

Kindergarteners need tools to investigate and explore the world of science. Our students need materials to investigate how magnets work and what materials are effected by magnets. We are also hoping to provide our students with goggles to help them to become the best scientists that they can become...while being safe in the science lab.

The world of science is a door we would like to open for our students.

Our classrooms currently share materials for investigations that limit our time and experiences.

Our future scientists need materials that will help them make predictions and experimentations with magnetism. Will the objects be attracted or will they repel? Our scientists will discover what magnets can do.
