Help me give my students access to independent, hands on learning by using the sturdy, magnetic, learn and store chart stand with a variety of magnetic learning tools.
Life on a Volcano! I have a class of 23 energetic, curious first and second graders at a public charter school on the Big Island of Hawaii. Charter schools are free public schools, but receive about half the funding as the state public schools. Therefore, we look for many other options to help fund the much needed supplies and technology for our classrooms. Many of our students have never been off the island, so it is important to provide a wide range of learning opportunities.

My Project
Students are attracted to anything magnetic!
The portable, magnetic, white board stand will be a versatile teaching tool that can be used many ways.
It can serve as a separate small group teaching area; an independent, exploration center; as well as, a math center.
The Engineering magnetic tools are great for tiny hands to explore using their creativity and problem solving skills. The math tools will provide great visual teaching tools and manipulatives that will allow students to learn concepts by hands-on experiences.
The flex seats will provide a comfy spot to be used at any small group area.
Your support for supplying much needed resources to provide rich learning experiences for our students is greatly appreciated!
