My students come from a lower socioeconomic background and often enter my classroom behind their peers across the state and even the county. I am an educator who believes every student has the right to an education and experience success without factors they cannot control setting them up for failure.
In my classroom I believe every student has the ability to succeed, some just need a little extra help along the way.
Sometimes that help comes from having access to simple technology tools such as basic school supplies. My students are high energy curious people. This project will help enhance their educational experience in my classroom
My Project
I am a new teacher in a Biology classroom. I am working to teach my students in the most effective way possible.
My students are visual learners.
Our labs and activities can generate more engagement if I am able to use color when setting up labs and activities.
Students will also be using the supplies with projects that require them to create and design biological models. We will be working on water and carbon cycles that will be more meaningful if students can visually see how both of these cycles utilize similar resources and affect their living environment. Students respond really well when materials are colored, color coded, etc.
