Athletic Equipment for Young Students

Help me give my students materials for Basketball. We are asking for new basketballs to replace our old ones. There are 10 total, 4 for the boys team and 4 for the girls teams. 1 Game ball each.

My Students

Our free after school program strives to provide our students with activities and skills that the students will value and carry with them throughout their lifetime. This program allows the students a chance to be themselves in a safe environment during after school hours. Our after school Athletics program is one that garners interest amongst a large number of our students.

Our students have shown a great work ethic as well as strong determination throughout our athletics program.

They benefit from having practice 4 times a week as well as numerous games against other schools in the area.

My Project

We are looking to provide our team with new resources that our students can feel proud to use during our practices. We are currently using the high school programs basketballs as well as some of our old hand-me-down basketballs. We do not currently have any basketballs that are the correct size for the girls team, nor do we have an appropriate game-ball for either team.

Our athletics program is a free program for students to join, so any type of donation would certainly help us afford much needed basketballs.

We are trying to provide these before our first game in January. The students will be extremely appreciative.
