This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I have a class of bright and intelligent students who also have a sense of humor. My classroom provided the students with additional supports so that they would be able to succeed. We are in Title I school where most of the students are from low income families.
Many of the students had started to blossom right before the school closure and now we will not be returning to the building for the remainder of the school year.
I would like to provide resources for them to continue this growth at home.
My Project
Due to COVID-19, my students will not be returning to school for the remainder of the school year. We have all been chartering new territories with at home teaching and learning. There are many basic supplies that the students had readily available in the classroom that they no longer have access to.
All of the students in my class have unique learning styles.
I have tried to cover something for each one of them with this project. From the markers to the sensory timers, each item will be beneficial to my students. Please help support them so that the learning gap will not widen.
