My Students

My students are smart, diverse, and AMAZING. I have 27 wonderful fourth grade students! They come from many social and economic backgrounds. A majority of the students are from low income families that rely on school for their educational resources.

My Project

Many of my students do not have access to any reading materials besides what I post online for them. There's nothing like holding a book in your hands and being excited to read it! Help me get my students excited to read while stepping away from the computer screen for awhile. These books are multiple reading levels so I will be able to mail home a book or two for each student that is exactly right for them. I will also be able to give them Scholastic News so we can practice reading and comprehending non-fiction texts!
