Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our 4th grade students are creative, curious, and compassionate kids. They come to school everyday ready to learn and help one another. They push themselves out of their comfort zone and always motivate and push each other. With the recent changes due to the virus pandemic, our team and students are adjusting to our new style of learning and teaching. As the fourth grade team, our goal is to motivate, encourage and push our students daily. This is something we continue to encourage while tackling teaching students from the comforts of our homes.
We are virtually striving to continue to build our learning community outside of the classroom and make the best out of a tough situation.
My Project
All of our students are currently dealing with virtual learning struggles. To help lessen those struggles, I am requesting a ring light to help bring more bright lighting into the videos. I hope that the video lighting allows students to clearly see and be able to follow along with the lesson. In addition to the lighting, I am wanting funding for a magnetic dry erase board. This board will be used to write on during my video lessons. This will help me tremendously with an easy set up for my video recordings.
