Help me give my students the invaluable gift of learning essential first grade skills like telling time while playing super fun games like bingo as research has proven that interactive play and learning go hand in hand
Things....they have a changed! With everything going on in the world today, Distance Learning is going on in homes across America. This all happened quickly, and we are all hustling to get our kiddos everything they need to become successful home bound learners.
My little 1st graders are such an exciting group!
Each little learner has a variety of mixed interests, abilities and goals. They love to play outside, learn new games, and dance to our class song "The Champion" by Carrie Underwood & ft. by Ludacris. Unfortunately, having endured the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael, many of our families are still living in transition. Their homes and belongings were destroyed!
While our school district is doing an amazing job of supporting and supplying great resources for our learners, I wanted to try and provide some hands on learning activities and games the students can really bring home what they are learning online. I have found some quality items on Amazon and would absolutely love to provide these "gifts of learning" to each individual student. With your help, we can achieve this goal!
Thank you in advance for your support and may God bless you and your families!
My Project
Everything has changed so dramatically for the students of our great nation! While we are accustomed to providing hands-on learning in the classroom, many parents do not have the resources in their homes especially after living through one of the deadliest hurricanes in history, Hurricane Michael. It is my goal that we can work together to provide a rich learning environment for these little guys!
My classroom is filled with kiddos eager to learn and what better way than through educational play.
Many times during the past months I've witnessed kids eyes light up while learning something new and special. Then to back it up with a game that practices this skill in some kind of game format, really helps them to commit the skill to memory. That is not all!! Interactive games encourages social skills, problem solving skills, familia relationships and fun!
