This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My babies live in a Title I community. Too many of my children lack technology in the home. Two families are not even reachable due to their phones being cut off. I have driven to each of their homes to check on my students. I have tried providing snacks, meals and other classroom essentials to them as far as I can provide on my own. I need a miracle for the children!
My Project
My babies are in a Title I community and they need me. I have been meeting with the few that can access the Zoom online learning platform, and they continue to say they want class snack time and they need books, a journal, and crayons and the simplest of things: pencils!
I am willing to drive out and hand deliver the materials myself to ensure the children are able to keep growing during this tough time, I just wish I could provide them even more!
I pray I am able to touch them all and ensure they are safe and stress free.
