I teach a 2nd-grade class of 21 energetic students. My students are eager to learn and love going to centers. They are kinesthetic and visual learners who learn best through hands-on practices collaborating with their peers. The learning that goes on while they are synergizing is a teacher's best dream. They are well on their way to having the experience they need to survive in a world where teamwork skills are a must. The students in my class work problems, write, collaborate, research, and communicate in groups.
My students are bright, creative, full of wonder, and need learning spaces that compliment how they learn best.
Flexible seating gives students a choice in the type of learning space that is best for them. Whether sitting, standing or kneeling, students perform tasks with ease when they are comfortable. The Wobble Chairs will allow movement for those students who need it. The portable laptop desk will be used with our devices during carpet time and in math centers. The Wobble Cushions will be used to alleviate tension when sitting on the floor or in a regular chair. The stools will be arranged in collaborative spaces for group work. Creating the classroom space to meet students’ individual needs influence how they learn, how they interact, and the entire classroom experience. Will you help me create the best learning environment for my students?
