Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With this project, my students will have access to a multitude of books that represent Asian American and Pacific Islanders. These books will allow my students to learn and experience stories about Asian American and Pacific Islanders. The books will help my students see themselves and everyone represented in the books we read together.

Having these books available in my classroom library gives room for the vital narrative that acknowledges the difficulties, celebrates the culture, and gives hope for the future.

As a teacher, it is my job to improve this world by teaching my students about different people and cultures. My students will make this world more loving with a library that reflects this idea.
