My Students

My third-grade class is an awesome place for reading, writing, exploring and learning. Students spend this year learning the foundation of reading to learn new information and applying it to all subjects. My students are constantly learning through different learning techniques. My students tend to learn more through movement and music.

I would love to attend a professional development event to bring more learning strategies to these kids to help them be successful throughout their amazing schooling and life in general!

My Project

I am requesting funds to attend the ASCD conference in Los Angeles to give my partner teacher and I some new and exciting ways to teach!

ASCD is a well-known association that empowers educators to achieve excellence in learning, teaching, and leading so that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged

ASCD is the go-to place for professional development reading material and this conference is when those authors of the most amazing and helpful books come together to teach principals and teachers from all over. When teachers leave this conference, they leave with more knowledge of teaching pedagogy as well as more strategies to enhance their teaching.
