My students are some of the most creative and talented individuals I have ever met. They are eager to do their best and take initiative in their learning. At times with the lack of resources and color within our classroom, we have to get creative in how to best showcase our learning. These students are so positive and thankful for what they have and take great care of our classroom as well as the resources within.
This class continues to challenge and encourage one another in their critical thinking within each lesson.
They love to show their thinking with evidence from their text that they have discovered. It is truly a pleasure to work with this amazing group on a daily basis.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in student learning by providing tools that will spark creativity. We often are working on group projects and presentations that need to stand out to grab their audiences' attention. Bright colored paper and utensils will allow them to broadcast their knowledge in a way that no one will be able to miss!
As 6th graders, we are creating TedTalks about our Nonfiction reading, we are researching topics they find interesting and we will make graphs based upon the information we find to educate peers and try to sway them to see their point of view.
These materials ensure they will have access to create a professional project that they are proud of to showcase their learning.
