Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My ELL students are motivated and enthusiastic learners. Our school is a Title 1 school with very high poverty. Our entire school receives free breakfast and lunch. Although they are surrounded by poverty, they eagerly come to school and work very hard. They know that through education they will be able to better their lives.
My students are great kids who come to school ready to work hard and enjoy learning.
They want to succeed and better themselves.
My students love art and expressing themselves with pictures. Having art supplies is a great way to show their work and enhance their creativity.
My Project
They enjoy learning while creating various crafts. The supplies that are being requested will help them create whatever they can imagine.
My students learn quickly with art.
Visual arts is very important in a child's life as they learn to manipulate their ideas into artwork. The sun catchers will be used during the spring which will enhance their learning of beautiful colors while learning about seasons.
The wiggly eyes, colorful beads, various pens, markers will be used when the students create people of different cultures and/or animals during our social studies unit. The case will help store the materials and making it easier for the students to access the materials.
These art materials will help make learning fun for all.
