Help me give my students a well rounded education! Arts can help students discover their passion and push their academic success as well!

My students are inquisitive, loving, and always looking for ways to support each other in their learning and fun! They love and are constantly asking for more games that incorporate hands on learning. They come to school every day reading to be challenged and continue growing their brains! They inspire me with their persistence to keep trying even if things get hard and even push me to complete my personal goals like drink more water LOL!
Many of my students come to school every day not asking to play on the playground or skip math but asking for more play-centered learning!
I teach 1st grade at a Title I elementary school in southeast Washington, DC. Almost all of my students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and many face challenges outside of the school building. However, this does not stop my students from showing up each day with a smile and ready to grow their brains.
Our students engage in centers daily to give them a more well-rounded academic experience! Their centers are a time of joy because of the freedom allowed in their creativity and how they learn.
My students can engage in learning through many different ways.
I want the chance for my students to be able to engage in learning in a fun and unique way!
My students will get the chance to dive into architecture, building people who look like them, and create art projects while building real world connections with what we are learning in math, reading, social studies and science.
