Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are a diverse bunch who are super eager to learn. We enjoy using our creativity and imagination as we learn through play. We are a busy class of 4-year-old students that offers plenty of hands-on experiences and opportunities to explore.
In our class we are building a school family where children can feel safe and part of something.
Our students are especially lucky because this is our first year as a full day Pre-K class. With this comes a lot of exciting new changes. Our goal is to create a solid foundation for their love for learning.
My Project
In our classroom, our preschool students learn with hands on projects. Having a printer in our classroom will allow us to have materials readily available for our kids. The oil pastels and water colors will allow the children to be creative and explore different possibilities.
By learning hands on, it connects real life with instruction which is the key for the students to learn.
In our classroom, we emphasize the importance of using different materials for them to explore and bring them to a different level of learning. It is a fun way to keep them busy and eager to learn.
