My students attend a diverse, inclusive, and amazing Title I school in upstate New York. I am in my 15th year teaching in this wonderful school district!
I teach students with special needs in 4th and 5th grade who are truly amazing!
They work hard but struggle with a variety of subject areas. I work with intermediate students to provide additional support in math and literacy. I work with an all-star staff and I'm lucky to work with many of the classrooms in my school. All of the students at my school receive free breakfast and lunch. Also, all of the students I work with always try their best each and every day. The students at my school are fantastic and I truly love working with them so much!
My Project
We are always in need of more supplies for our classroom to do activities with arts and crafts. All these supplies will help with the many projects we do.
Sharpie markers, paints, and streamers are needed as we create posters and we will use them on our projects such as biography posters and posters that tie in with Writer's Workshop regarding the stories we write.
Students will also use the display board and letters to write in large letters what they want their audience to see in a clear manner. For example, if they are doing their research on a country, they can write the name of the country in all capital letters. We always need packaging tape in the classroom. Since this is heavy duty it can be used to hang up student work. We are very thankful for your support.
