My Students

I am the elementary Art teacher, so I get all of the elementary students each week. My students are loving, kind, caring, and know how to share. Not all of my students have access to books at home let alone an art book, so the more we can get a book in their hands, the better it is for them.

My students were excited that I now have a small art library in my classroom for them, but would love some more books so that they will have a better variety of art related books.

My Project

These books will help my students grow in Art and Reading. Some of these books will introduce the students to new artists. A few of these books will show the students how to draw simple things to more complex. The Can You Find It Too books will help my students look at art more closely.

The books that are about 13 Sculptures or Women Artists or American Artists, that children should know, will introduce my student to just a few pieces of art.

They will show the students some of the "major" art works. I feel that all of these books will help and encourage my students to grow in art and reading.
