My Students

Every student deserves the opportunity to access crucial resources in order to develop as fulfilled individuals on his, her or their own terms. My students inspire me every day with their curiosity, creativity, intelligence, resourcefulness, resilience, and kindness. I am excited to continue watching them grow and find their passions. Specifically, they demonstrate an interest in socio-emotional curriculum and incorporating technology into their projects. One of my personal goals is to help students develop a love for learning with projects!

My Project

My students love to create and show their creativity. We have worked on various art projects throughout the year. For example, with sequencing, we have learned how to make cartoons and comics. In order to continue exploring the arts, my students need more supplies. With the paints, we plan to learn about impressionism, surrealism, and local artists. Students will explore print design, colors, and line art as well. We will also connect our social emotional and social studies curriculum with our art. With these materials, students will be able to bring home their personal work and remember their experiences in class forever.
