Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach dual language in an inclusion program to serve children with both English and Spanish. My school serves low-income, high poverty students. 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. Students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My ultimate goal is to provide the best education and a safe learning environment for all of my students by supporting their everyday needs.
First graders love exploring and learning new things, they love using new technology and not to mention they love reading.
Preparing our students for the future is crucial for educational success.
Young minds need to be challenged, and no two students are the same. My students are all willing and ready to learn new things and enjoy sharing what they learned with family.
My Project
The students will be painting their name on the water bottles and decorate them as they wish. This activity will be so much fun enhancing students artistic abilities. The wood boxes will be used to paint and decorate for special occasions. Please help us with these supplies so students can be creative and use their imagination to paint and decorate.
Simple things like holding a paintbrush and scribbling with a crayon are an important element to developing a child’s fine motor skills.
Especially for young kids, drawing, painting, and sculpting in art class help develop visual-spatial skills. Please help us with these supplies.
